Dry Cleaning and Laundering

Not all dry cleaners are the same. Some just bulk clean and process. At Celebrity Cleaners every garment is individually inspected 5 times. Sometimes garments even require being cleaned 2 or 3 times…we must be careful and thorough. It’s not a perfect science but we are always striving to improve.

Laundered Shirts

Like our dry cleaning process, laundered shirts are inspected 5 times. Collars are pre-treated, cuffs and collars are hand finished, sleeves are touched up and buttons are replaced. There is a difference and we try to set the standard.

Delicates

Many garments must be additionally cared for due to fabric, ornaments, appliqués, etc. During the pre-process examination we segregate these garments, identify the best and safest way to process them, protect exposed areas and buttons and then carefully clean, finish and package them.

Specialty Garments

Certain garments have to be individually and delicately processed. These garments might be hand made, have fringes, lace, or be knitted and/or made from intricate fabrics. They could be unique costumes or uniforms etc. We pre-screen these garments and carefully clean them separately and often by hand.

Wedding Gowns

All weddings gowns we process are first individually hand cleaned and pre-treated and then processed separately. Wedding gowns are never cleaned with other garments. We then hand finish and package them so that their original luster is maintained and preserved.

Gowns

Many gowns and cocktail dresses require hand processing and individual care. We always examine each garment carefully and determine the most effective method to delicately clean and finish each gown.

Leather and Suede

Leather requires individual processing by a specialty cleaner. This is essential to preserve the oil and finish on every leather garment. While we sub-contract our leathers, we work closely with the premier leather company in south Florida to insure they identify our needs and provide the best results.

Comforters & Bedding

Comforters must be carefully examined and processed. While we are directed by the manufacturer’s care label, we also do our best to pre-treat and finish each comforter individually. If these procedures are ignored the comforter can be compromised.

Table Linens

Most linens and/or tablecloths require individual hand treatment. They are prone to protein and/or food and makeup stains. Without separate attention to these stains, most times they will not come out. Often times we must re-clean them to insure the best results. At Celebrity Cleaners this is our standard procedure.

Curtains

Depending on the type of curtain, often times curtains require a specialist. Here, too, we work with expert contractors that are set up and equipped to address delicate and pleated curtains to insure a superior result.

Area Rugs

Many carpets and area rugs are quite delicate. They are often hand made and expensive. Our rug and carpet cleaners individually pre-examine each item and carefully clean, deodorize and finish them. They are then separately packaged to provide a superior end product.

Water Damage

Garments damaged by water and smoke must be segregated, pre-treated, carefully cleaned and restored. It is an intricate process that must be used to insure there is no residue or damage.

Pillow Renovation

No need to buy a new pillow. Each pillow we process is opened, the fill is removed, cleaned and supplemented. We then place the clean and enhanced fill in a new ticking case to complete the process.

Our seamstresses have years of experience, extraordinary talent and the right equipment to provide you with an exceptional result. Like cleaning, sewing and finishing requires knowledge, experience and talent. We have it all at Celebrity Cleaners.

Like our alteration department, we have carefully researched and located the best shoemakers to provide you with exceptional workmanship and results.
